Dogsled Express’s Owners Pat and Lisa Campbell announce retirement from Dogsled Express. Dogsled Express Business is up for Sale!
Dogsled Express…an established and successful winter sled dog guide business on Mount Shasta, CA for over 20 years is up for sale. We have the website and business plus 3 tour sleds and a two handle sled, 600 Polaris and groomer, 20 dog trailer, Diggler scooter, and many dogs from 2 years to 7 yrs for sale and some for free to good mushing homes. Great dogs for skijorers. Some nice distance and sprint dogs. We are keeping our old dogs and my main young race team to go back to racing with for our later years with the dogs. Keeping our cart for training.
Great opportunity for someone or a couple that has experience with sled dogs. If you are looking for honest working nice dogs to get into the sport with, here’s your chance. I will post info on the dogs that are available in the near future, with pictures and honest breakdowns of each dogs strength and week points in both in work habits and personalities. For more info you may call 530-467-3009.
Thanks to all our wonderful customers over all these years. This hasn’t been an easy decision but at this point in our lives it is the right decision. We have been giving tours for over 20 years (without a client injury) and are Blessed to be in the position in life that we are at now. This will allow my wife Lisa and I to spend more time together while she continues her wonderful career with N. CAL Products as the Marketing Manager. I will fight wildfires again this summer falling trees for my last year also.
Very excited to get back into writing again and possibly working with training PTS dogs and disabled vets with the cart and our dogs.
We will keep this website updated on the latest developments for Dogsled Express’s future.
A special thanks for my wonderful wife Lisa that has been so patient with me over the years away from her while being out with the dogs and clients. She never once asked me to get out of the business. She let me decide when it was time. The dogs were right when they her they told me she was a keeper. Love you Lisa.
